land.air.water

We've been learning about our earth and what it is made up of. I thought this was a fun activity to do to enforce the idea of land - air - water.

the beginning of writing

I made some little booklets (kids loooovvvveeeee little books that they can take home). Just some simple cardstock covers and white drawing paper on the inside, unlined. I discovered the most amazing thing ever - booklet staplers - get one.

art shelf

On the art shelf last week: punching and glueing. Glue. A very scary thing the first week of preschool. And tiny pieces. I prepared myself for a little extra clean up here and there. The kids love it!

snack table table cloth

Our snack table was in need of some pizazz. Welcome green stripey wipe-able/washable/durable table cloth. Edged with bias-cut tape and backed with a rug pad!

summer art class

This summer I organized and ran a weekly art class for girls going into first grade (and one three year old). We did a lot of fun stuff, but here are a few highlights.

new school year

Well the school year has begun and I prepared a few things in the Practical Life section of the classroom. (Pouring, scooping, mixing, tonging, sewing, screwing, twisting, etc.) They are really simple and pretty.
